What Is HIV Stigma?
HIV stigma refers to unreasonable or negative attitudes, behaviors, and judgments towards people living with or at risk of HIV. It can negatively impact the health and well-being of individuals living with HIV by deterring some individuals from learning their HIV status, accessing treatment, or staying in care.
